The Hotel Esmeralda Resort offers 50 rooms and suites spread across our 14 colourful villas, decorated in tropical shades of turquoise, yellow, pink and lavender.
Each of our villas has 3 or 4 ground floor bedrooms and/or suites and private, shaded terraces surrounded by lush greenery and richly hued blooms, with direct access to the swimming pool.
All our categories of accommodation can be rented individually or are available in several combinations which can be customised as you wish.
Breakfast is served in the Astrolabe Restaurant, an intimate setting by the swimming pool, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Orient Bay Beach is one of the most beautiful on the island. Its white sand provides a striking contrast with the incomparable turquoise of the sea. A stunning sight.
Beautiful resort in a quiet setting
My wife and I spent four nights at your beautiful resort and had a wonderful time. The room was spotless, and the service was extraordinary. The semi-private pool off the rear balcony was where we spent a great deal of time. There was a large shower and the kitchenette had plenty of dishes and utensils; they even had a bottle opener. The beach and restaurants were a 2-minute drive. There is also a restaurant on site where we ate breakfast. The location of the resort is in a quiet area and it was hard to find at night as the streets aren't named. I highly recommend this resort

Consistent quality and comfort
We had an amazing experience at Hotel Esmeralda. As returning guests during this time of year, we continue to be impressed by the consistent quality and comfort the hotel provides. A pleasant experience to repeat
A wonderful discovery: the Esmeralda Hotel on Orient Beach. Our room was spacious, with a huge bed and impeccable bedding. The private pool right in front of our room was also very enjoyable especially at the end of the day after spending time at the beach, just a 5-minute walk away. The village center, with its many restaurants and entertainment options, is a quiet 12-minute walk from the hotel.
The front desk staff was attentive (helping with car and boat reservations), as was the breakfast team, always available for anything we needed. And we cannot forget our two lovely housekeepers, always smiling, who cleaned our suite with care every single day.
A big thank-you to the entire Esmeralda Hotel team for this wonderful stay.
We will be delighted to return for our next vacation in the Caribbean.

Don’t miss this place !
We spent 3 nights at Esmeralda (Orient Bay) during a one-week stay in Saint Martin. Verdict: our best choice—clearly better than Anse Marcel, which is tucked away in the north, not as green as expected, and already quite built up. The bungalow-style rooms have real charm, the breakfast is delicious with plenty of options, and the setting is lovely. The staff is wonderful—attentive without overdoing it.
There are great restaurants nearby on the bay, and the hotel is a perfect starting point for exploring the entire island and surrounding areas. We were there at the end of the season (May 2025), so it wasn’t very crowded, which made the overall atmosphere even more relaxing.

Excellent resort offering all the comfort you need, just steps from Orient Bay and the ocean
What a beautiful place! I would return without hesitation. The rooms were comfortable, very welcoming, and spotless. You could hear the sound of the waves, and the well-maintained footpath was only a 6-minute walk away. The pool and terrace made the stay exceptional.
The restaurant was outstanding, with an amazing breakfast made of fresh products, and the dinners were simply delicious. Monday’s Surf and Turf was fabulous. The duck and frog legs were exquisite, and the wine list was impressive. I really didn’t want to leave.We will definitely be back, and we highly recommend this resort.

A pleasant stay
An ideal stay during the low season peaceful and right by the sea.
We spent three nights with our dog, and the entire staff was wonderful with him. Thank you for the warm and thoughtful welcome. The room’s comfort was impeccable: bedding, pillows, and amenities. The lively terrace with access to the pool is superb, and we had an excellent time. We will not hesitate to come back.
